You will usually be advised and supported by students who are well informed in the respective field. You can also take advantage of other advisory services organized or supported by the StuRa.
What we can offer you:
-
Free and personal advice on many different topics
-
Passing on to other offices if we can't help you directly
-
Usually from students for students

Advice teaching & study
Your rights in examinations, regulations on exam retakes, third attempts, part-time study or changing subjects - you've come to the right place with your questions. Generally speaking, we can always help you further when it comes to examination or study regulations, the course of studies or the module handbook. Tricky issues in particular can be solved here, and your FSR will often be the first to offer advice.
There is also an FAQ on the subject of exam inspection. This can also answer your initial questions.
Feel free to send us your questions (e-mail)
Consultations are currently held by e-mail or in person by appointment.
Advice on project support
Do you want to bring your idea to life on campus or expand everyday student life with an excursion? The Project Support Advisory can provide you with information about university groups, financial support from the StuRa and other possible supporters.

Advice for international students
Unfortunately, there is currently no person in the StuRa who regularly offers advice for international students.
However, questions about student financing can be directed to the “Student Financing & BAföG” counseling service.
If you have difficulties with legal matters, e.g. housing, work, cell phone contracts or similar, you can also come to our lawyer's consultation hours. The social counseling service of the Studentenwerk can also support you.
Nevertheless, we will try to read your emails regularly and answer your questions or refer you to other services.
