The Student Council (StuRa)
The Student Council (shortened to “StuRa”) is your student representation at TUD Dresden University of Technology. Currently, around 30 students volunteer at the Student Council, advocating for all 30,000 students on campus. Alongside the Faculty Student Councils, which are responsible for topics concerning individual degree programs, we play a crucial role in student participation and shaping campus life.
We try to help you with your problems during and surrounding your studies (for example with our advice services) and represent the views of the students within the university, as well as beyond.
To achieve this, the Student Council is divided into the following structures:
Members
The Student Parliament consists of representative delegates from the various Faculty Student Councils. Motions are discussed and decided upon every two weeks in this parliament. Under Members, you can see who is currently a member of the Student Parliament for the respective faculties.
Departments
Under Departments, you will find the division of the Student Council into various Units, each dealing with a specific subject area. You can find out what the individual units do and who is involved on their respective pages.
