The Senate
The Senate is responsible for academic matters related to teaching, student affairs, continuing education, and research that affect the entire university or are of fundamental importance.
The Senate’s public meetings are held every second Wednesday of the month in the Dülfersaal.
The members, additional meeting dates, the current agenda, and the minutes of the Senate’s public meetings are published on the Intranet.
In addition to the elected student representatives, one representative from the StuRa may participate in the meetings as an advisory member.
In addition to the Senate, there is also the Extended Senate. The Extended Senate is responsible for electing and removing the Rector, as well as for passing resolutions regarding the Basic Regulations and amendments thereto. It consists of the 21 members of the Senate and 22 additional representatives. The members, meeting dates, and public minutes are listed on the Intranet.
