Privacy policy has top priority for us. In fact, we take it far more seriously than the EU, and thus established a suitable unit.

In fact we are such dedicated to our privacy policy that we do not list our members. However, even if we would want to we could not, since this unit lays dormant. PLEASE CONSIDER JOINING!

Unit Tasks

The unit privacy policy serves as a steadfast, proficient consult to students and the student council towards the topic of privacy policy laws. Its tasks include:

  • knowing and understandig the legal framework
  • supporting the students’ council and its organisational units in carrying out their duties, and providing advice on the protection of students’s personal rights (e.g. in relation to CCTV surveillance at the university or attendance requirements)
  • providing advice on forthcoming data collection with the aim of ensuring the reasonable and proportionate handling of personal data
  • supporting relevant regulatory changes at universities and within the student body

Unfortunatly, the unit lies dormant, and thus we cannot provide you with active council.

However, you could change that. JOIN US!

Projects/News

In the future, if the unit commands a sizeable team, you will probably find a basket of services, projects and updates around the topic of privacy policy. Till then, you will have to be content with the nitzschean void.
