Mobility Unit
The Mobility Unit is the (working) unit within the StuRa that deals with topics relating to student mobility between home, university and leisure activities.
Responsibility for the Deutschlandsemesterticket, as well as the contract for the use of the “Mobibike” micro mobility bike system, lies with this unit.

Tasks
Administration of the Semesterticket, which is financed on a solidarity basis:
- Providing information on the Deutschlandsemesterticket and the Mobibike system
- Maintaining contact with the contractual partners involved, other student representations and the university administration bodies involved
- Conducting contract negotiations with the aim of achieving student-friendly framework conditions
- Point of contact for any problems with the transport companies involved
- Processing refund applications
- Monitoring developments regarding the Deutschlandsemesterticket
Participation in political discourse:
- Campus mobility plan
- Dresden Mobility Plan 2035+
- Advocating for attractive local public transport in Dresden
- Cycling traffic concepts of the City of Dresden

If you have wishes and ideas about how student mobility in Dresden, and beyond, should develop, then you have come to exactly the right place.
Our field of work is broad: from administrative tasks, such as refunds of the Semesterticket, to negotiations on the micro mobility bike system, to political activity as a representative of student interests in our city and beyond — with the Deutschlandticket right up to the federal level. All of that is possible. :)
