Responsibilities and Tasks

The Sports Unit is responsible for promoting student sports. Its tasks specifically include:

  • Support for students in individual sports
  • Organization of sports events (in particular, support for tournaments)
  • Content-related advice on financial applications and expense allowances for sports coordinators and course instructors
  • Representation of the student body in university sports committees

This results in particular contacts with the following institutions and persons:

  • University Sports Advisory Board
  • Assembly of Sports Coordinators
  • German University Sports Federation (adh)
  • State Conference of Saxon University Sports
