Subsequent purchase of the Semesterticket
In principle, every enrolled student has a Semesterticket, so a subsequent purchase is not necessary.
Students on leave of absence, guest auditors (Nebenhörer) and distance learning students are exempt from the obligation to pay for the Semesterticket. However, they can actively add it during enrolment. A subsequent purchase of a ticket that was not initially selected is also possible during the semester. It is also possible to buy individual months.
For guest auditors (Gasthörer), no (subsequent) purchase of the Semesterticket is possible.
If you study at the International Institute Zittau (IHI Zittau), you can find all information on subsequent purchase at the following link:

Subsequent purchase during the re-registration period
For a subsequent purchase for the entire semester during the re-registration period, payment is made by bank transfer to the Enrolment Office. You can find the bank details here:
https://tu-dresden.de/studium/im-studium/studienorganisation/rueckmeldung
If you only want to purchase individual months, the procedure for “Subsequent purchase after the re-registration period” applies. A subsequent purchase is only possible in this case if you have re-registered.
Subsequent purchase after the re-registration period
The amount is to be paid in cash at the Service Office of the Student Council during opening hours. We will then activate the Semesterticket.
Please note that the ticket cannot be used immediately after purchase!
The ticket will be made available to you 1–2 days after the subsequent purchase. As soon as it is ready, you will receive an automatic email.
For the summer semester 2025, the subsequent purchase price is a one-off €7.38 per semester (MOBIbike) + €29.40 per month to be purchased in the semester.
For the winter semester 2026/27, the subsequent purchase price is a one-off €7.38 per semester (MOBIbike) + €34.80 per month to be purchased in the semester.
If you cannot come to the Service Office in person, you can either authorise someone else with a power of attorney.
Alternatively, contact the Service Office. The staff will then help you with how to purchase your ticket subsequently.
