How do I submit a refund application

  1. Check whether one of the grounds listed above applies to you.

  2. Fill in and sign the refund application legibly. You can find the corresponding PDF here

  3. Gather the necessary supporting documents.

    • Applications should also be submitted if you do not yet have the supporting documents!
    • You can find which supporting documents are necessary for your ground for a refund below.
  4. Send the refund application together with the supporting documents to us in good time before the ground for the refund arises.

  5. If applicable, submit any missing supporting documents as soon as possible.

After we have received your application, we will process it and get in touch if we require further documents.

Please note that applications must be submitted separately for each semester. If your ground for a refund concerns both the winter semester and the summer semester, you must submit two applications.

Note:

The electronic blocking of the Semesterticket after the application is received by the StuRa does not pre-empt the decision on whether a refund will be granted!

Processing can take up to eight weeks!

If your application is complete and approved, you will receive the money transferred to your account from us a few weeks later (without any further notification).

If we take the view that a refund is not possible, you will receive a notice of rejection by post or email.

If you have further questions about the refund procedure, please contact the Service Office.

For general suggestions and requests for improvement, please contact our Mobility Unit.
